Richard Saxton of Team Associated posted on his Facebook this morning a picture titled "New fifth scale".
While we apologize for getting your hopes up, this is in fact NOT a 1/5 scale, but instead the Lucas Oil Off Road Championship Modified Kart ride of Team Associated's young driver Blake Lenk...but we still found it cool enough worth sharing!
Are we jealous of Blake and his AE sponsored Modified Kart? Maybe. Do we wish we were a kid again just to fit in there to go for a ride? Yes. Will our only hopes and dreams of ever becoming to being a rising star offroad sensation like Blake Lenk be the day Team Associated releases a true 1/5 scale radio controlled vehicle? Absolutely (assuming the R/C version will be able to withstand one of the most gruesome durability tests around...Mike Garrison)
