Yesterday we featured some spy shots of the all-new Pro-Line Slash, but were given no real information regarding the parts we were looking at. It was more than obvious that the truck had a COMPLETE makeover, but we began to wonder how much of it was Pro-Line original parts. The few chassis photos shown yesterday appeared to be nearly identical to the TLR22T chassis.

Today, however, Pro-Line has clarified the rumors of a possible "Franken Truck" by announcing everything shown is actual Pro-Line parts and chassis. The aluminum chassis is part of the upcoming Pro-Line Slash LCG (low center of gravity) chassis kit designed for racing.

Here are a few more shots that were shared with us showing off more of the new chassis and various other PL accessories:

Pro-Line Racing has released a few teaser shots of some new products for the Traxxas Slash. While they leave us with little to no details, from looking at the pictures it is more than obvious that Pro-Line is working hard on their new Slash project, and essentially have rebuilt the major parts of the truck to convert it to a true race machine.

(Here you can see new Pro-Line towers, front brace, and servo mount on top of the chassis.)

(This appears to show new side bumpers and battery strap layout, similar the TLR22)

(A good view of the new Pro-Line transmission as well as what appears to be a narrow chassis)
Last but not least, we did some heavy investigating and came across this spy shot...not amongst the ones actually released by Pro-Line.

This view of the new Pro-Line Slash confirms a narrow aluminum chassis with battery setup, esc mount, and side guards identical to the TLR22T. Could this be a Slash conversion using a TLR22T chassis?  The servo is mounted laying down and on top of the chassis with additional braces not found on the stock Slash.

Stay tuned as we uncover more details soon!
