LiveRC: Welcome to "Talk-It-Up Tuesday" Jörn! Let's start off talking about your recent wins at the Euro Offroad Series. There were some heavy hitters at the final round including IFMAR World Champion Ryan Cavalieri, were you confident going into the race that you would dominate the way you did?

Jörn: Yes, I was confident going into the race, because I knew my equipment work very good on carpet. And I have a lot of experience on such type of tracks.

LiveRC: You have shown that you can drive nearly anything, but what would class of racing would you consider your "specialty"?

Jörn: I would pick 1:10 4WD, because it suit my driving style the best.

LiveRC: The IFMAR 1:10 World Championships are set to be held here in the United States this year. What are some things you will be doing to train and prepare for the event?

Jörn: I will attend the World's warm up and try to practice as much as I can here in Europe.

LiveRC: Who do you feel will be your biggest competitors at the upcoming IFMAR Worlds?

Jörn: I think their are probably around 10 drivers who can win the World Championships. It's hard to pick someone.

LiveRC: Do you feel more confident after the EOS knowing that you can beat top American talent on both astro and dirt?

Jörn: I would say I feel not more confident then before. It's nice to beat them on carpet, but the main races are on dirt.

LiveRC: Which do you prefer, astro or dirt?

Jörn: It's both nice to drive on. I would prefer a well builded dirt track.

LiveRC: You have been a long-time Team Durango and JConcepts factory team driver. When did you first become a sponsored team driver?

Jörn: It was back in 2004, when I won the European Championships 4WD.

LiveRC: What are your favorite Team Durango and JConcepts products?

Jörn: I like the JConcepts body design especially for the Durango 2WD. And their new fin titanium turnbuckles look awesome. About Durango products, I would pick their 4WD as it's very easy to work on.

LiveRC: You've had some major accomplishments over the years. What would you say is your best and worst moments in R/C?

Jörn: My best moment was in 2012 when I won the Reedy Race as first European driver. My worst moment was at the 2011 Worlds in A1 when my motor broke with a 6sec lead.

(In 2012 Jorn made history becoming the first European to win the Reedy International Race of Champions.)

LiveRC: Is R/C racing your full-time job?

Jörn: Yes, I make it full time.

LiveRC: What does a typical day in the life of Jörn Neumann consistent of?

Jörn: After wake up start to work on the cars and get them prepared for the next races. Sometimes work with Gerd on prototype parts.
