Serpent America has announced today that they have signed on board Matt Schreffler. Matt will be running the Cobra GP buggy and truggy, as well as the Spyder 1/10 2wd buggy that will be introduced in July.

Not long ago we received word that European sensation, Hupo Honigl, made a switch in fuels for the 2013 nitro offroad season. Jason Moberly takes the Tekin GEN2 ESC's to victory at Speedworld Raceway
In 2wd SC open, Jason Moberly's Tekin Pro2 5100kv/RX8 Gen 2 powered Durango DESC210, wired with new Tekin Flex Jacket wire was on fire. Moberly TQ'd every round except one where he experienced mechanical difficulty. In the main Mo lead from tone to tone, taking the win by over a lap with a fast lap over a second ahead of anyone else.
 
Masami Hirosaka wins at the 2013 KO Propo Grand Prix in Taiwan
The competition was fierce with a close battle in qualifying. Taking the TQ position of the 1:10 Mod Touring Car class would be Howard Cho, with Masami Hirosaka starting second, and Ron Chen third in the main. It wasn't long after the start of the main before Masami made quick work of the field taking the overall win!
 
 
Team Durango debuts the DETC410 with a record setting win for Elliott Harper
Team Durango has announced a big win for the new DETC410 touring car platform this past weekend. While news of the win is travelling worldwide, the photos and details of the DETC410 are still being kept secret at this time. We anxiously await to see more of the new DETC410 platform in full detail soon.
 
 
Jimmy Barnett is the 2wd and 4wd Mod Buggy 2013 WCRC Supercross Series champion
West Coast Raceway hosted the 4th annual Supercross Series which started March 23rd and ran through May 4th. The Supercross Series, consisting of 6 races with TQ points, along with bonus points for participants in each class dates back to the old SoCal Raceway days. Big air, big berms, and a whole lot of fun!
 

Ty Tessman wins both buggy and truggy at the ROAR 1:8 Fuel Nats Warm-Up
This past weekend Gulf Coast Raceway in Porter, Texas hosted the ROAR 1:8 Offroad Nationals Warm-up race. The covered outdoor track proved to be a challenge for many drivers, and tire wear was HIGH in both buggy and truggy classes. Hot Bodies team driver, Ty Tessman, would TQ and win both Open Buggy and Open Truggy classes over TLR's Adam Drake and Mugen's Barry Pettit.
  

Tekin and Mark Moon win at the Southeastern Indoor Classic
Tekin powered Mark Moon put both his Tekin RS Gen 2 ESC Redline Gen2 motor powered Open 2wd SCT and Open 2wd buggy into the A mains in both classes. Moon finished 2nd in Open SCT and would take the big win in Open 2wd buggy!

Jason Pietch wins for Panther Tires at the Matt Gerald Benefit race
This past weekend Revolution Raceway in Appleton, WI hosted a benefit race for one of our local racers, Matt Gerald. Matt was severely injured (broke his back) while racing his off-road buggy at the Red Bud MX track. Being a long time racer at the track, Revolution hosted a benefit to help him with his recovery.
 
 
Daniel Sarmiento wins the 2013 Nitro Buggy Philippine National Championship
Racers from all over Metro Manila as well as Cebu and even Riyadh descended on the CV Off-Road Track for The 2013 Nitro Buggy Philippine National Championships. After a long 60-minute final Sarmiento claims the victory!
  

Todd Pearson takes two at Outback Raceway for BMiller Racing
BMiller Racing’s Todd Pearson recently won both the Spec 2wd Buggy and Spec 2wd Short Course titles for the six-round Outback Raceway Wednesday Night Off-Road Series.
 

Double victory for Team Shepherd at the South German Onroad Championship
Last weekend the MBC Bamberg hosted the first round of the South German Championship in the north of Bavaria with Team Shepherd winning two of the three racing classes.

John McGinty leads Tekin to victory at the 2013 Badlands R/C Spring Sting
Tekin powered Dennis Allison would take overall Tq in the 1/8 Electric Truggy class followed by Tekin teammate John McGinty in 4th. John McGinty moved into 2nd on the first lap and a few minutes into the race would take the lead from Allison leading the remainder of the main taking the overall win with Allison in 2nd.
 
Paul Lemieux and Keven Hebert lead PROTOform to victory at the Mile High Indoor Onroad Champs
Team PROTOform drivers Paul Lemieux and Keven Hebert scored TQ and Overall wins in Touring Car Modified & 1:12 Modified. PROTOform drivers also took the wins in 3 other classes, including Mike Haynes racing a TR-12 to its first big win!
