Yuichi Kanai returns to his World Championship winning RB Engine team
Last week the news of IFMAR 1:8 World Champion, Yuichi Kanai, leaving Team Orion engines came as a shock to the industry. Today, Kanai has announced that he has re-joined the RB engine team, which was his World Championship winning team in 2000!
 
 
ROAR announces new minimum weight rules for nitro onroad classes
ROAR has issued a rule update today regarding the weight minimum of 1:10 and 1:8 nitro onroad cars. Before this time the weight regulations of ROAR did not meet up with that of IFMAR, thus ROAR has decreased the minimum weight by over 100g in each class.

Last chance for the 2014 IFMAR Electric Onroad World Championships in America
ROAR has made a last chance announcement today regarding the upcoming 2014 IFMAR Electric Onroad World Championships. The event was scheduled to be held in America, but with a lack of bids from host facilities, IFMAR has given ROAR a second chance to find a home for the event.

JConcepts releases new Team Associated titanium axles

PSM releases new 7075 aluminum CVD axle set for the Kyosho MP9 TKI3
PSM Option Parts has just released their new CVD axle set for the Kyosho MP9 TKI3 buggy. The new axles are made up of 7075-T6 aluminum. The lightweight design is intended to reduce the drivetrain's rotating mass. Each set weighs in at a slim 30g.

Mark Lim double victory at the NOOB Singapore Open Buggy Rd.3
Round 3 of the NOOB Singapore Open Buggy Series took place last weekend at the RaceWorks Arena. Mark Lim walked away the winner of both 2wd and 4wd classes!
 

Kaja Novotny wins the Mibosport Cup Round 1 with RDRP
Round 1 of the Mibosport Cup 2013 is in the books and Team Durango/RDRP driver, Kaja Novotny, was the man to beat. Novotny, running the new RDRP DEX210 +11 chassis, dominated the field bringing home a win for both Team Durango and RDRP.
 

Cody King scores a double win at the JBRL Nitro Series Rd.2
JBRL Nitro round 2 is complete, and it was a HOT hard fought win in the Buggy class, and a little easier cruise in the Truggy class for Cody King!
 

BMiller Racing Stock vs. Mod Buggy Challenge race report (with video)
In a continuing journey to present different ways to enjoy RC car racing, BMiller Racing hosted the first-ever BMiller Racing Stock vs. Mod Buggy Challenge on May 10 as part of the weekly Friday Night Nats program at LSR Speedway in Sacramento.
 

Manalvo dominates Pro Buggy at the OCR Offroad Shootout Series Rd.3
In Pro Buggy of the Offroad Shootout Series Rd.3, Sergio Manalvo cleans up taking wins in all 5 rounds ahead of Tony Knauth, Knauth putting up a fight early on, but Manalvo was just too good over the night. Dylan Thomas taking a well deserved third spot over Tim Nicol and Neil Ingram.
 

Sturgeon, Briggs, and Henrickson win the Novak 11th Hour Enduro
The first ever Novak Eleventh Hour Off-road Enduro took place May 5, 2013 at the HobbyTown USA HobbyPlex in Omaha, NE. Seven teams of three and four drivers grinded through eleven straight hours of racing!
 

Paul Lemieux leads the PROTOform domination at the ROAR Onroad Paved Nationals
After taking the ROAR Carpet Nats off due to the birth of his second child, PROTOform Team Driver Paul Lemieux was back on top of the podium, taking the victory in Touring Car Modified equipped with an LTC-R.
 

Jon Howells is crowned the CML Winter Series buggy and truggy champion
With a win at Round 6, Jon Howells went on to win the overall series in buggy and truggy!
 

Didier Perin takes the MBX-7 to victory at the Malaysia Labor Day 1:8 Labor Day Challenge
The 2013 Malaysia Labor Day 1:8 Offroad Challenge was held this past weekend and Mugen Seiki team driver, Didier Perin, made the trip for the event. After a long day of qualifying Didier put his MBX-7 on top with an overall TQ. As the tone sounded for the A-Final, Perin's buggy was unstoppable as he drove his way to victory!
 

Barry Pettit wins at the 2013 ROAR Nationals Warm-up race with Tekin
Tekin powered Barry Pettit was able to pull a small lead and finish the race in the first position. Barry was joined by Tekin teammate Brian Henn in 3rd.
 

Ronald Volker wins the Touring Car Masters and AOC Round 1 for PROTOform
PROTOform team driver Ronald Volker scored two big wins the past few weeks. First was a victory in Germany at the LRP Touring Car Masters on carpet, followed by a win over fellow Team PROTOform driver and home track favorite JJ Wang in China at the first round of the Asian On-Road Championships.
 

Neil Cragg doubles up at the Southport BRCA Offroad Nationals
Neil Cragg wins both 2wd and 4wd buggy classes at Round 2 of the BRCA 1:10 Offroad National Series.
