We are only days away from the 2013 ROAR 1:10 Electric Offroad Nationals which is being hosted by Silver Dollar Raceway (A Main Hobbies) in Chico, California. Later this year many of the same drivers attending the Nationals will be back at Silver Dollar Raceway for the 2013 IFMAR 1:10 Electric Offroad World Championships. We saw many of the nation's top drivers in attendance at the Pre-Worlds event held in June.

World Championship events are known for the debut of new cars, which are often seen at the Pre-Worlds events. With such an early Pre-Worlds event this year, virtually no new vehicles or products were debuted for the upcoming World Championships. While this weekend's event is titled the ROAR 1:10 Electric Offroad Nationals, we speculate this will be a "Pre-Worlds" of its own for many, as this will be one of the last chances for practice in Worlds race conditions. Will we see any new cars debuted this weekend?

We saw majority of the Team Associated drivers using the Centro mid-motor conversion for the B4.2 buggy in June, will they return for the ROAR Nationals using the Centro converted buggy or is there a possibility we will see a B5 mid-motor car in action?

Team Losi Racing drivers have been running the XX-4 and XXX-4 4wd buggies for over a decade now. TLR, like all racing teams, want to win World Championships. Is there a chance we could see a new TLR 4wd buggy in action this weekend preparing for the Worlds?

It's no secret that HPI/Hot Bodies has been working on their new 4wd buggy, the D413. Is the buggy ready, and will Hot Bodies Pre-Worlds winner, Ty Tessman, be racing the new car this weekend? Will he be able to pick up where he left off? Will we get to see the actual car, or will it remain hidden under pit tables?

The LiveRC crew will be bringing you all of the live action on and off the track from this weekend's ROAR 1:10 Electric Offroad Nationals starting Thursday, but until then...
  1. Do you speculate any new cars being debuted this weekend? If so, which ones? If not, why?
  2. Whether they are speculated to debut or not, what new cars would you LIKE to see this weekend?
  3. Who do you speculate will be the driver to beat this weekend in the various classes?
