How often do people ask you, "How fast does your R/C car go?" We get asked that A LOT. When we say 30-40 mph on the track, people aren't usually that impressed as they don't realize how fast that really is. What if you could honestly say your R/C car goes 171.96 mph? Well, Nic Case can!

Our friends at PROTOform have shared news of Nic Case's Guiness World Record setting run with his custom built R/C car. Dale Epp, of PROTOform, worked with Nic throughout the design process helping out as an aerodynamics adviser. Clearly the aerodynamics worked as they were supposed to.

This record was set nearly one year ago, and since that time we have heard rumors of the competition heating up as several heavy hitters are getting closer and closer to breaking that record.
