This week, we take a look at the top 10 signs that a hobby shop will fail.

Don't lie...you secretly wish you owned a hobby shop. It's a chance to run things the way that you want, because obviously your ideas are better than the 14,283,431 other people who have tried and failed before you. And we all know that hobby shop owners are rich and drive nice cars (or they did before they opened the shop). If you or someone you know run a shop, here are some key signs you should watch for that mean you are probably headed in the wrong direction.

10) The shop owner opens a race track and still doesn't know how to properly rebuild a diff
9) The shop owner responds to suggestions with, "If you don't like it, open your own track!"
8) The shop owner still races a car that is two models old
7) The shop owner has a mullet, cutoff sleeves, and jean shorts
6) The shop owner opened it with the intention of getting rich
5) The shop owner only stocks parts for his favorite brand
4) The shop owner hires his biggest spending customers to work in the shop and gives them parts at cost
3) The shop owner works his butt off....for three months...then stops
2) The shop owner is too lazy to update his Facebook page
1) The shop owner doesn't broadcast club races on LiveRC!
