The recycling of the heats per IFMAR rules wreaked havoc on the fourth round of qualifying. Races 6-14 were completed without incident, but with a few minutes left in Race 1 the skies opened up - and the track slowed down...way down. Not only was this the first round of the weekend that Ty Tessmann did not win, but the results were changed dramatically as the times set by racers from the lower, drier heats held up.
