DNC: Carson Wernimont fuels up with VP-Powermaster

When Carson Wernimont switched from Mugen Seiki to Team Associated after last season, his deal with Mugen's Flash Point fuel went up in smoke, too - leaving the third-place finisher at last year's IFMAR Worlds without a sponsor to fuel his O.S. engines in 2015.

Carson's father, Russ, already had a relationship with VP Fuels from his career in running full-size racing teams, but he and Carson didn't have time to approach the fuel manufacturer about running Powermaster - they came knocking on their own.

"I'm pretty picky about my power package," said Carson, "but it runs really good, and they just sort of fit in with everything else we did this year."
