This year's ROAR Fuel Off-Road Nationals at AMain.com's Silver Dollar RC Raceway was held over the weekend of Father's Day, and while the timing may have impacted the plans of some fathers and sons who were racing (or planned on racing) it gave those in attendance an extra reason to celebrate racing together. During a few breaks in the broadcast working toward the semifinals and Buggy main event, I interviewed five prominent "pit dads" - Gord Tessmann, Mark Pavidis, Mike Moller, Russ Wernimont, and Larry Numedahl - and asked them about what it was like to go racing with their sons.
