2012 Oregon State Series Finals

As the dust begins to settle and the race season starts winding down, The Oregon State Series Finals are one of the last races held for the State of Oregon before the rainy season sets in. After talking to the Crown Raceway's Host Chad Paris he stated, "We are doing everything we can to pull out all the stops for the season finale. The Series sponsors have provided us some great prize giveaways ranging from Nitro Engines to pre mounted Tires and lots more."

Crown Raceway, Began its life as a Horse Pasture on the Peterson's land. Brian Petersonan Rc Enthusiast himself has attended many of the Oregon Races over the past years. This plot of land with its monster 200 by 185 off-road track has hosted Rounds 1 & 3 of the Oregon Series and has quickly become the premier track in the state. The 2012 season saw some huge improvements to an already great facility. In ground sprinkler systems to make the watering in-between heats and races faster; an inclosed announcers booth with all new equipment help keep track of the laps everyone is putting down. RV parking allows for racers traveling having a spot for all the needs they can have. Jacksonville and Medford only a short drive away allow racers to stay in the comfort of one of many hotels.

This year’s Finals are going to be held September 14th -16th, With a Dash for Cash held under the lights on Saturday night to keep things going. The race is open to all who show up Entry is $25 per class and this gets you the whole weekend of racing. Personal Transponders are required.
