2013 Reedy International Offroad Race of Champions

 

Now with two years under its belt in its triumphant return, The Reedy International Off-Road Race of Champions continues to receive accolades and praise from racers, sponsors and fans alike.  In 2012, the first European champion was crowned in the Invitational class by Jörn Neumann; Chad Due took the 2WD Open title and Josh Numan took the 4WD Open title.

Now a permanent fixture on the racing schedule, the Reedy International Off-Road Race of Champions continues for its third year at West Coast R/C Raceway in La Mirada, CA from January 24-27, 2012.  Entries open September 4 on www.RCSignup.com.  With only 200 lottery spots for the open classes and 30 Invitational drivers, spaces are limited.  As in previous years, the event continues its traditional 2WD Open and 4WD Open class along with the combined Invitational 2WD/4WD format.

 

To allow everyone an opportunity to be a part of this historic event, a lottery drawing for the open classes will be conducted on October 22 with the first 200 entries selected securing a place in the event.  Entry fees are not collected until after the lottery drawing for the selected open class entries and Invitational drivers. Entries are open through October 21 and close at midnight.

Qualified Invitational Drivers include: Neumann, Evans, Cavalieri, Easton, Pavidis, Francis, Hodapp, Kortz, Hirosaka, Hohwart, Lett, Moore, Allec, Achter, Matsuzaki, Tebo, Cragg, Martin, Maifield, Hönigl, Phend, Matsukura, Pinisch, Akimoto, Due, Numan, Hara, Numedahl, Hartson, Dunlap, Ronnefalk, Bloomfield, Bradby, Tessmann, Pfeihofer, Cockerill, Mattias, Castellano, Robbers, Turner, Thielke, Trauner, and Denney along with JMRCA A-Main drivers still to qualify.
