2019 Midwest Electric Champs, Phend and Maifield Overall Winners

Dakotah Phend took the win in 2wd mod buggy, mod truck, and 2wd mod short course this past weekend with Ryan Maifield taking the win in 4wd mod buggy at the 2019 CRCRC Midwest Champs.

Dakotah Phend (TLR) would win A1 and A2 to take the overall in 2wd modified buggy. Ryan Maifield (Yokomo) would capitalize  on grid position in A3 to take the win and 2nd overall with Spencer Rivkin (Team Associated) finishing 3rd. Ryan Cavalieri (Yokomo) would finish 4th with Alex K. (Team Associated) finishing 5th.

Ryan Maifield (Yokomo) would finish 1st after taking the win in A1 and A2 in 4wd modified buggy. Joe Bornhorst (Tekno) would finish 2nd with Alex K. taking 3rd. Spencer Rivkin would end up 4th with Dakotah Phend taking 5th.

Dakotah Phend would also win A1 and A2 of mod truck and mod 2wd short course. Spencer Rivkin and Austin Horne (Team Associated would fill out the podium in short course. Ryan Maifield and Ayden Horne (Team Associated) rounded out the podium in mod truck.

Big shout out to everyone getting our buddy Carson hooked up with a full race system! We liked the story so we had Tyler contact Randy Pike and Tekin, and were able to hook him up with a motor and esc. Shoutout to Old Man Billy, Dalton Myers, Kevin Abbott, Dakotah Phend, Corey Richardson, Cole Henrikson, the crew at The Ohio RC Factory and everyone else involved.
