360v2 Raceway and Hobbywing have worked together to come up with a program that allows for affordable fair racing at the local level with motors well under the normal stock pricing and a simple tech process that ensures fair racing and competition at all levels.
The Stock Motors will be Justock G2.1 17.5 FTM 360 Edition Motors with Fixed Timing and Fixed Gearing for 1/12 and TC. This motor normally retails for $65 but will be available to Hobbywing Winter Series competitors for just $45. The Racer buys, owns and keeps his motor once it is sealed by Series Tech. If opened for maintenance or parts change, it must be teched and sealed again.
The Superstock Motors will be XeRun G3R 360 Edition in 13.5 for 1/12, and 17.5 for TC. These motors retail for $95 but will be available to Hobbywing Winter Series competitors for just $65. Just like the Stock class, the Racer buys, owns and keeps his motor once it is sealed by Series Tech. If opened for maintenance or parts change, it must be teched and sealed again. Superstock will run with Open Gearing and Open Timing.
Any driver who has made an A or B Main at any National Level event in On-Road over the past 3 years is not eligible to enter the stock class. The Hobbywing Winter Series will run from January to April and crown Champions in all classes with major awards.
