The 2020 Pro-Line Racing Surf City Classic took place this past weekend in Huntington Beach at OCRC Raceway. The event boasts long single main events making mistakes that much more costly. Broc Champlin took a very impressive win in the 2wd Modified Buggy class with Ryan Maifield rebounding from a tough 2wd run to take the win in 4wd Modified Buggy. Aydin Horne had quietly an extremely good weekend getting on the podium in all three premier modified classes and taking the win in Modified Truck. Davey Batta dominated the field in 2wd Stock Buggy, and finally Jake Thayer survived a brutal 13.5 4wd Buggy final to take the win.
