2022 Danish 1/8th Off-Road Nationals Round 3 Results

The Danish off-road nationals round 3 were held at Skive RC center this past weekend. A track where the Wind is quite strong, with tricky jumps. Quite fast and fun!

Saturday was EP Day! Traction started low, but quickly moved up a bit. I was fastest in Practice and manage to sweep all four rounds of qualifying. There was quite a big gap from me to second place. But from second to fifth was there a great fight! This was between Thomas Vig, Mads Puggaard, Mikkel Vesterled and Patrick Danielsen.

In A1 I got a stone stuck in my wheel… this took me out of that final… Mads got the win here In A2 I got the win and same in A3.

Great job to Patrick for his first podium on his second buggy race! Both PD and Mads had same points after finals. But Mads had the win in A2 that got him the second place.

Sunday was buggy.

We tested a lot of stuff thought out the day.

We was fastest in practice on 3 laps.

We also manage to take the TQ and have pole for semi A. We manage to win that by almost 2 laps. Meaning we would have pole for the final. A great final. After 9 min we were already 2 laps in front of second place, meaning we could take it easy and just drive the car home.

We would win the 45 min final, with almost a 5 lap gap to second place!! We also made new track record, lap record and new 45 min record! Great Day!
