After a grueling 45 minute main event Sunday night, Ryan Maifield was crowned champion of the 2022 Dirt Nitro Challenge in Pro Buggy.
Joe Bornhorst (Sworkz) would lead early and ultimately would finish up 2nd but one mistake would allow Maifield (Mugen Seiki) by a little before the halfway mark where he would pull away to a safe lead. The battle for 3rd would trade hands multiple times with Jared Tebo (Tekno RC), Ryan Lutz (Kyosho), Dakotah Phend (TLR), and Ty Tessmann (Team Xray) all taking a turn before Ty Tessmann pulled away with the spot to finish 3rd.
