The race points format essentially means that every race is heads up and your finishing position in your race is more important than your overall time. 1st place gets 1 point in each heat, 2nd gets 2, 3rd gets 3, etc etc. Each round also counts so you must maximize your finishing position in each round, dbf's are extremely costly. The person with the lowest mount of points after four rounds is the TQ, if there are any ties who ever finished better in seeding wins the tie breaker.
