2022/23 Czech Masters Finals Results

The last round of Czech Masters series took place last weekend in Prague find the results here.

Free practice in the evening followed by one round of controlled practice on Saturday morning gave us some time to get used a little challenging track. I topped practices of both classes with fastest 3 consecutive laps.

As qualifying started, my XB2 felt very good and easy to drive and allowed me to take the overall TQ spot in front of Dominik Vlasek and Patrick Bremstaller. In 4WD I was having troubles finding the right setup for some of the tricky parts on the track and made a few errors in qualifying, which allowed Dominik to take the TQ, I finished 2nd and Antonia Kovalzski 3rd.

2WD finals went as planned and I managed to secure the overall win after A2, as I took A1 and A2 from start to finish! Dominik would end up in 2nd and Patrick Bremstaller took the 3rd spot. 4WD unfortunately wasn’t like I would have liked it to be, as I was very close to Dominik in the first two finals, but didn’t find my way through. So he held on to his 1st position, while I passed Dominik and won the A3 to secure the 2nd spot on the podium, with Antonia finishing 3rd. Anyways I must say congratulations to Dominik for very fair and close fights all race long, good to see more young talents in my home country coming up!
