2022/23 MRCup Round 1 Results

MRcup series Rd.1 which was as well the warmup race for the last round of Czech Nationals coming up in 3 weeks was held in Jedovnice on the past weekend. Many drivers used to opportunity to get ready for Nationals and we had over 70 entries for the race. 

In the modified class Adam Izsay took the TQ already in the first 2 rounds of qualifying with Oliver Havranek starting in 2nd and Jirka Vysin in 3rd. In finals it was a close battle between Adam and Oliver, and at the end Oliver could take the win after taking final 2 by 0.06 seconds followed Adam in 2nd and Jirka in 3rd, making it an all X4’23 podium.

3. Jiri Vysin - XRAY X4

In the stock class it was the same duo fighting for the win all day. Adam Izsay won all rounds of qualifying, Oliver Havranek was 2nd on the grid followed by Simon Horak in 3rd. First final was a thrilling battle between Adam and Oliver, with Adam coming out better and took final 1. Final 2 and 3 was again a close battle between Adam and Oli but this time also Simon Horak was not much behind and after some collision at the front Simon could pass and take win and as well took the overall win in front of Adam in 2nd and Oliver in 3rd. All of them with X4.

In formula class Lukas Hoch dominated all day and took an easy TQ & Win with the X1’23.
