Davide Ongaro is the new 2023 IFMAR World Champion in 1/10th scale 4wd buggy!
A1 was pretty straight forward with Davide taking the win after leading all the laps from the TQ position. Michal Orlowski would hang on with 2nd and Spencer Rivkin would climb from 5th to finish 3rd.
A2 would be where things would start to get more interesting with Davide crashing out of the lead early. Michal would inherit the lead and keep it until he was met with a hard charging Spencer Rivkin. Spencer would make the most epic of the week thus far passing Michal coming off the end of the straight-away after the double which would eventually be the A2 winning move. Michal would hold on to 2nd place with Broc Champlin finishing 3rd.
A3 would be everything fans could ask for with Davide and Michal getting away early and Spencer moving into 3rd after just one lap. Orlowski would make a mistake on the 3rd lap allowing Rivkin to move into the 2nd spot. Then the battle was on, Davide and Spencer would battle it out for the last 4 minutes to crown the new world champion. Spencer was relentless closing the gap and trying to make moves. He ran the sole 17 second lap during the charge but ultimately Ongaro would not crack. Davide would hold on to take the A3 win giving him the overall and the World Championship.
