Report by Zak Finlay

At the beginning of February the XRAY UK team attended the final round of the Telford based, MICC series.

With all three of the main championships already sealed in the favour of XRAY, the team were relaxed and looking forward to an enjoyable days racing to end the series.

In modified, Kyle Branson was able to take the overall TQ position ahead of Harley Eldridge, both drivers using the XRAY X4’23. In the final, Kyle was able to pull a comfortable gap at the start of the race and held that throughout the 5 minute final to take the overall race win. Harley would finish 2nd overall on the day and also 2nd overall in the championship.

Modified results:

  1. Kyle Branson - XRAY X4
  2. Harley Eldridge - XRAY X4
  3. James Hart

In 17.5 stock, some driver errors prevented Zak Finlay from taking the TQ position on the final race day of the season. Zak was able to pressure the TQ in the single-leg final but couldn’t make the pass he needed, so settled for 2nd overall on the day. Zak had also won the MICC stock championship at the previous round, so the 2nd place result did not effect the overall championship.

  2. Ben Moorey
  3. Sam Law
