What is the Offroad JAM?

The Offroad JAM was founded over a decade ago by long-time R/C racer and race director, Mike Garrison. The event is designed to be a premier 1/10-scale off-road dirt racing event that attracts racers from across the country for a weekend of fun racing R/C cars - regardless of skill level. The event includes a traditional race program, however, in addition is most well known for it’s fun activities, contests, awards, and raffles. Each year the goal of the Offroad JAM event is to ensure that each and every racer leaves with a smile, intentions to return again next year, and a long-lasting memory of pure fun racing R/C cars.

Meet the Garrison's

The founders, promoters, and race directors for the Offroad JAM are Mike and Britani Garrison. Mike is known by some as long-time R/C racer racing around the pits in his wheelchair, others may know him as the LiveRC.com news editor, a motorsports racing broadcast announcer, or founder and graphic designer at BOOM Graphics. Mike is the promotional leader and man on the mic running the races and keeping the event flowing smooth.

Britani is Mike’s wife who is also an avid R/C racer, the former ROAR Region 8 director, an organizational guru, rule enforcer, and is perhaps most well-known for her fearless attitude to tackle any challenge big or small. Britani is the “boss lady” keeping racers in line, organizing each day’s program and activities, enforcing the rules, and quickly solving and resolving any issue that may arise - as well as assisting Mike in the booth on race day.

Together the Garrison duo have hosted, directed, and/or been a part of R/C and motocross events around the nation including the ROAR Nationals, JConcepts Winter Indoor Shootout, Southern Nationals, Offroad RIOT, Monster Energy Cup Supercross, Ricky Carmichael Daytona Supercross, Farm14 MX Loretta Lynn’s National Championship Qualifier Events, and many more.

The Host Facility

The Fastlane Raceway facility features a fully stocked hobby shop, premiere indoor and outdoor offroad tracks, carpet onroad track, and outdoor dirt oval. The facility features handicap accessible pits, drivers stand, restrooms, permanent pit tables, power, chairs, and hobby shop. Located approximately 4 minutes from downtown Blue Springs, the track offers an extensive list of food delivery services, nearby restaurants, and lodging. Approximately 35 minutes from the Kansas City International Airport.
