The 2023 Southern Classic Event Update

This is a brand-new event with the history and memories of the ORIGINAL Southern national's events of the past. This event is being hosted at the world-famous IKE Hamilton Expo center in west Monroe, Louisiana and will pay homage to the original style event and our good friend Kaleb Hamby. We will have a pro payout to the top 5 in BOTH pro classes, as well as all other classes being available to race with great trophies and awards at stake for the top 5's. TONS of raffle prizes will be given away and this will be an event you do not want to miss! This race is being put on by Derek and Lindsay Tarrant under CMC Productions. Indy rc world, HB Racing, Amain, Protek, Exotic RC, Tekno, Pro-motion, J&T Bearings and TNR Fuels are the title sponsors with many more to follow! The cap for non pro classes is 375 with heat fillers to follow after the first flush of unpaid entries is handled. The pro class does not have a cap and does not count towards cap numbers.t

This event is being held September 15th -17th of 2023 

The track will be a mix of our favorite old classic tracks from 2015-2020 with massive air, huge elevations and many rhythm sections built by Ross Pilgreen and Derek Tarrant for some great racing.

PRO electric classes will have Double 10 min main events

ALL other classes will have Double 8 min main events

The mains winners for these classes will be crowned by combined times from BOTH mains.
