2024 USCOC - Pro 2wd Modified Triple A-Main Results

2wd Pro Mod Buggy by Whitz Racing
The story of the week in the Pro 2wd Modified class was Brennan Schimmel. Driving a borrowed car, Schimmel was on a whole different plain as he started with taking the TQ spot and walked away the overall win taking both the A1 and 2 wins. This left the rest of the field fighting it out for the remaining podium spots. We had already seen Chase LeMieux take the overall win in the Pro 4wd Mod class and was in serious contention for a podium spot. Having a 5th and a 4h place finishes in the bag, LeMieux would turn on the after burners in the A3 final to cruise in for the win. After all the math was calculated, he would finish in the overall second spot with Batta rounding out the top 3.

3 Davey Batta

4wd Pro Buggy by Schumacher
There were a handful of drivers in contention not only for the TQ spot, but also to take the overall win. It would be Chase LeMieux that would come out of qualifying scoring the TQ with authority. Just as it looked like LeMieux was going to walk away with it after his A1 win, a series of misfortunes would knock him to the back of the pack in the A2 final. It would all come down to the A3 main for the overall win. LeMieux would show exactly why he was the TQ as he would have a super clean run and fend off the hard charging Brennan Schimmel and Davey Batta. A A3 win would mean an over all win with Schimmel second and Batta rounding out the Top 3.

2024 USCOC - Pro 17.5 Buggy Triple A-Main Results

Pro 17.5 Buggy by Team Associated
Pulling the most out of a 17.5 motor and not making explode is tough! It could possibly be the toughest class to be in and a name you were hearing a lot in this class is Dustin Fox. Yes, the same Dustin Fox who claimed the overall win in the Pro 4wd 13.54 class! Hoping to make it a clean sweep in the stock classes Fox would start with scoring the TQ spot. It just wouldn’t be in the cards for Fox as he would finish in the mid pack positions. It would be in the cards though for Second qualifier Nate Sutherland as he would convincingly take the A1 and A2 wins to take the overall. Jeff Statkiewicz would finish in the over all second with Kyle Gough rounding out the top three.

2024 USCOC - Pro 4wd 13.5 Buggy Triple A-Main Results

Pro 4wd 13.5 Buggy by JConcepts
TQ in the Pro 4wd 13.5 division was Dustin Fox and it was his Triple A-Main to lose. It could be said he dominated in the qualifying rounds collecting most wins. There were several drivers that were on par with Fox’s pace in the quals, but couldn’t put a clean run together. Hoping to put up more of a fight, Fox would put on a master class in consistency as he would seamlessly take both the A1 and A2 wins to wrap it up. It would come down to the A3 main for the rest of the podium positions. With both a 2nd and 3rd place finish, Aaron Mitchell and Antonio Caputo just needed to finish ahead of one another to claim the overall 2nd. When the dust settled, it would be Mitchell to come out ahead with Caputo settling for third.

3 Antonio Caputo
4 Tyler Pattenaude

2024 USCOC - 40+ Masters 2wd Modified A-Main Results

40+ Masters 2wd Mod by Motiv
From trial and error over the years and decades, the 40+ class knows from experience that consistency is what gets you to the front. Being fast of course helps, but consistent driving got Paul Ciccarello the coveted TQ spot. Throughout qualifying Ciccarello threw down some heater runs and it looked like this momentum would carry into the main. Things got off to a good start, but a bad bounce on the landing of the table top sent Ciccarello off the track losing a couple of spots. Associated’s Team Manager, Brent Theilke would be there to capitalize and acquire the lead and carry it to the finish for the overall win. Third qualifier Jamie Thompson would finish second and Ciccarello would settle for third.

3 Paul Ciccarello
4 Allen Horne

2024 USCOC - Stadium Truck A-Main Results

Stadium Truck by Hobbywing
Anything can happen during racing and TQ Nate Sutherland never saw this coming. Sutherland who had dominated in the qualifying rounds seem untouchable at the beginning of the main instantly making a gap ahead of second. Disaster would strike though as Sutherland would lose a front wheel knocking him out of the race. Instantly capitalizing on this misfortune would be second qualifier Kyle Holmberg taking over the lead with Ryder Himanekl who started from third. The two would battle until the end with Holmberg edging out Himanek by 1-tenth of a second! Tyler Davis would round out the top three.

2024 USCOC - Short Course A-Main Results

Short Course by Hobbywing
The always fun to watch Short Course class gathered a crowd every time it was up. Matthew Hudak reigned king claiming by claiming the TQ spot after some tough qualifying. Trading paint is the norm in short course and there was plenty of that at the sound of the start tone. Not so much for Hudak as he would get a clean start and would start to check out early in the main. Second qualifier Cougar Macdowall was in contention in the podium spots, but a roller over sent him to the mid pack. It would be a street brawl between Eric Bresnahan and Geoffrey Ketler banging bumpers and fenders for position. In the end it would be Hudak taking the win, Bresnahan second and Ketler rounding out the top three.

2024 USCOC - 2wd Modified A-Main Results

2wd Mod by RC America
Matthew Bauer was under tremendous pressure, not only to keep his hard fought TQ position in the front of the 2wd Modified pack, but to win the main too. His son Ryland had already achieved this feat in the 17.5 Buggy class and was looking to his dad to do the same. With steady nerves, Mathew got off to a good start when the race started, but second qualifier Arthur Scrimo was determined and right behind hungry for the win. Both drivers pushed themselves being the only drivers with a 25-lap pace. Bauer sent it in the closing stages of the race increasing the gap to 4-seconds at the end of the race to take the win. The only father & son to win at the USCOC! Scrimo would finish second with Brian Lutz finishing third.

2024 USCOC - 17.5 Buggy Amain Results

17.5 Buggy By Avid RC
Both TQ Nathan Demeglio and 2nd qualifier Ryland Bauer were battling for the top spot right from the sound of the tone. Always being within seconds from each other the two concentrated on their race not knowing what was going on behind them. The big story in this main would be Dawson Camacho making some power moves. Just like his nickname suggest, his Awesome driving abilities ended putting him within a couple of seconds from the leaders! This is sometimes the best place to be and he would immediately capitalize on an incident. The seconds were ticking away and by the end of the race the finishing order would be Bauer taking the win, Demeglio second and Awesome Dawson Camacho third.

1 Ryland Bauer
2 Nathan Demeglio
3 Awesome Dawson Camacho
4 Keegan Hanson

4wd 13.5 Buggy by Exalt RC
Connor Barrows and Arthur Scrimo were like two warriors at battle as both drivers fighting for the TQ spot. Scrimo would setting for second as he had a bumper view of Barrows at the start of the A-Main. You can’t count out the rest of the field that’s hungry for a win though. With Barrows in the lead, his car would shut down on lap 7 suddenly forcing him to pull over. Running his own race, but staying in touch with the leaders, Garrett Londre would make the power move from the fourth qualifying position and trade it for the lead. Not so fast said Keegan Hanson as he stayed glued to Londreh’s bumper for more than the last half of the race. Separated by a couple seconds running identical paces, the gap between them stayed the same as Londre would claim the win and Keegan second. Arthur Scrimo would finish third.

1 Garrett Londre
2 Keegan Hanson
3 Arthur Scrimo
4 Jeremy Caouette
5 Van Slutz
6 Carl Holton

2024 USCOC - 21.5 Buggy A-Main Results

21.5 Buggy by Team Scream
Running 60 drivers deep, the 21.5 2wd Buggy class was ultra competitive to say the least. Aaron Rees would emerge as the TQ after three rounds of qualifying and led the field around for the first part of the 6-minute race. The stakes were high and the pressure of it all forces mistakes as Rees would fall into the dreaded pit of the table top turn. He would lose more than a handful of spots as second qualifier would take the lead for the rest race taking the win. Phil Carey would jump up one spot to finish second with John Johnson rounding out the top three.

1 Scott Walter
2 Phil Carey
3 John Johnson
4 Aaron Rees
5 Matthew Hudak
6 Dan Marino
7 Garrett Fuchs
8 Tyler Obrien
9 Jackson Neer
10 Ken Brunelle
