This past weekend I attended the JConcepts Indoor National Series opener at Team Velocity RC Raceway in St. Charles, Missouri. The event was flawless with an excellent race program, a stacked field of drivers from around the country, a fun track layout, and pits full of new and old friends. One thing that was NOT flawless was my travel organization. Some drivers running 3-4 classes were able to travel with a single roller bag and perhaps a backpack full of stuff. I, on the other hand, showed up running 2 classes with two full OGIO roller bags, a JConcepts two-drawer hauler bag, two random cardboard boxes full of stuff, and a suitcase full of clothes. Through it all, I still managed to leave my soldering iron (JUST the iron, not the base or other components) at home somewhere.

Needless to say, I clearly have forgotten the tips and tricks to pack for races when travelling away from your local track. In an effort to condense my hoarder load of R/C stuff, I went in search of the best travel tips from a few of the best in the business, and here is what I found...
