The Montpellier GP is a very competitive international nitro off-road race held amid seasonally cold temperatures in Southern France. Given the weather of the region as well as the typically slippery track conditions, AKA Products will be introducing 1/8-scale buggy tires made of the Ultra Soft compound already proven in such conditions in 1/10-scale racing. Not only will team drivers have access, but French AKA distributor Racing Experience will also be selling the tires to all drivers. Here's what Racing Experience said:
"The AKA international team will release a brand new compound on the occasion of the Montpellier Grand Prix: the Ultra soft! The team drivers will have a new weapon at their disposal that will provide them with performance and durability.
AKA and Racing Experience will disrupt conventions and will give all drivers the opportunity to use this new ultra soft rubber. It will be available in stores on Friday when the race will start."
