AKA, the current 1:8 buggy tire world champions, have announced a new tire just a little over a month before they begin their title defense.
However, as you will see, the new "Moto" tire is not likely to be a factor on the race-prepped circuit in Argentina this December. The tread is designed instead for blown-out tracks and rough terrain; perfect for finding traction in conditions where none is easily found.
AKA says the tire will be available November 1st.
