Labor day weekend Hobby Haven R/C teamed up with R/C Car Action Magazine to present the annual Offroad Shootout. This event has been taking place every labor day since the early 1990's.
On hand was TLR's Alex Sturgeon. Sturgeon a midwest native from Omaha, Nebraska is not only known for his driving abilities, but also race director and track builder for the infamous Hobbytown USA HobbyPlex (one of the nations largest permanent indoor racing facilities).
Sturgeon put TLR on top by taking TQ and dominating the mains for the overall wins in Mod 2wd Buggy, Mod SCT, and 1/8 E-Buggy!
