AMainHobbies and Silver Dollar R/C Raceway announce 2012 1/8 World's Warmup Race

Anyone can take part in the action and race against the top drivers in 1/8 nitro buggy and truck for just $40 per class, if registered online before October 14, 2012. To sign up simply log onto RCSignup.com at http://events.rcsignup.com/events/displayEvent.cfm?ID=2837 and register. If you are unable to register prior to October 14, 2012, you can still register at the event. Onsite registration will cost $50 for the first entry and $40 for additional entries. Practice will be held on Thursday, October 18th with four rounds of qualifying on Friday and Saturday, October 19th & 20th and the mains on Sunday, October 21st.

Silver Dollar R/C Raceway, which will host the 2013 IFMAR 1/10 Electric Off-Road World Championships, features a 200’ x 100’ racing surface comprised of premium high-bite clay from Northern California. The facility is housed on the famous Silver Dollar Fairgrounds in the heart of Chico, and includes a massive ADA compliant drivers stand with integrated scoring booths, a comfortable lighted pit area for more than 100 racers, and will soon have seating for crowds in excess of 1,000 spectators.
