It will use:

ROAR Nationals
Wicked Weekend
Alabama Manufactures Shootout
Southern Nationals
Visions RC
IFMAR Worlds
In a rolling 2 year period. Example. 2023 SIC to 2022SIC
2022 DNC to 2021 DNC is currently counting
When 2023 DNC happens 2021 DNC will Fall off. 2022 and 2O23 DNCs will be the scores counting.

If a race ever fails to have 10 of the current top 25 at that time it will not count for points.

To score points you will have to be North American and finish in the top 20 in Pro Nitro Buggy in races stated above and finish in the top 40 in the 1/8th off road IFMAR worlds. The reason the IFMAR worlds scores to 40 is because the field is twice as deep and it is worth double points. The points take your top points earning events and drops 4 events. That equals out to the equivalent of 2 races a year, although those drops do not need to be in any specific year. This rewards people that attend a lot of events without penalizing them when they have DNF or flame out. With the drops it also helps those who cannot make it to all of the events do to other conflicts. There is not a weighting system so anyone can check the math and know where they stand. 4 races will be the drop amount as to provide a good incentive to attend races and still give drops for DNFs and races that conflict so you are not penalized too highly for said issues.

I want to make clear this page is not affiliated with The Top 25 RC ranking system and does not mean to replace it. It is a stand alone ranking for people that want an easy to understand system to follow and track their favorite American racers. We do not intend to try to or want to compile a worldwide ranking system. It is too big and complicated of job. Much respect to what The Top 25 RC Rankings does. I feel an American ranking system is a much requested and wanted product.
