Amezcua Signs with AKA

We have just received official word that pro driver Travis "Peanut" Amezcua has signed on with AKA Products for the 2011 season. AKA Products manufactures tires, wheels, inserts, and other accessories. Travis had this to say about the switch:

"First off, I would like to thank Pro-Line for their years of support in my racing career. I would also like to give a personal thanks to Todd, Tim, and Daniel from Pro-Line. They have been great to me and I wish them all the best. My move to AKA is an exciting opportunity for me, and I am looking forward to working with a group of highly motivated people who love to innovate. As 2011 progresses, I can't wait to be involved in some of the exciting new products that are in the works."

Travis is well accomplished driver in both electric and nitro off-road racing, having won a ROAR national championship in 2WD Modified Buggy in 2003, and having A-Main appearances in multiple IFMAR World Championships in both 1:8 Nitro and 1:10 Electric.

Joel Johnson, President of AKA Products had the following to say about the acquisition of Travis Amezcua:
