Tessmann statement acknowledged NEO Race tire controversy

Yesterday, we shared a blog post from Joseph Quagraine which pointed out that Ty Tessmann may not have equipped his buggy with Pro-Line tires for the final at the NEO race in England this past weekend - CLICK HERE to read it. At 10:59 PM CT last night, Tessmann published the following statement to his Facebook page acknowledging the situation and offering an apology.

I'm sure all of you have read what happened for the nitro main at the NEO race in regards to our tires.

Everyone has hard decisions to make in their life, you make some good ones and you make some bad ones. At NEO my Dad and I made a mutual decision to run a competing brand of tires for the main, this was one of those bad decisions. I am not going to discuss the reasons for our decision as they are not important the fact is that we owe Proline and all of you an apology. What we did was wrong and it should not have happened, we have no excuse for our decision. We are sorry to those that we have let down. We are Christians but we are far from perfect and we hope that you can forgive us.
