Serpent appoints Joaquin De Soto as new CEO

Dear Serpent fans and those interested,

Serpent is launching new initiatives to facilitate and support the further growth of the product line and to enable new marketing and sales activities. To realize these expansion plans, Serpent directors have hired Joaquin de Soto, from the USA, as the new CEO of the company. 

He brings a proven business record as the prior CEO of Deneba Software, CTO of ACD Systems and CEO of Desoto Racing / Serpent America. 

Joaquin has a Masters degree from MIT, an engineering degree from UM and is a US patent holder.

De Soto has the following to say, “I am proud and excited to join Serpent Ltd as CEO and I look forward to implementing its strong expansion plans. I will bring my hands-on passionate approach to the Serpent product line and I am eager to start working with all of Serpent’s customers and drivers, as well as the full Serpent staff. Together we will work hard and aim high. We have some excellent plans for the future and will push to bring more great products to life. Together, we will fight hard for wins on and off the track.”

The entire management team of Serpent supports and welcomes the new direction and will begin working on making Serpent an even stronger brand in this dynamic RC car market.
