HPI Racing Press Release:
Come out and check out the 2012 HPI Baja Irvine Lake West Coast Nationals track on Saturday, August 11th. We will have the track layout that will be used for the upcoming 2012 HPI Baja Irvine Lake West Coast Nationals event scheduled for September 28-30th. This will be the inaugural Baja competition event at So Cal's newest 1/5th Scale Track Facility right on the shores of beautiful Irvine Lake.

Schedule:
Pits open at 8:00 AM for setup and event registration
Track opens at 9:00 AM for practice
Qualifying starts at 10:00 AM followed by the first competition heat
Format will be 2 rounds of 10 minutes staggered start qualifying (rocket round/fastest time format)
Mains will be 30 minutes for A-Mains, 15 minutes for B-Mains and 10 minutes for C-Mains and below
Personal transponders required (we will have a limited number of transponders to rent for the day)

HPI Baja 5b 2WD Buggy Sportsman
HPI Baja 5b 2WD Buggy Expert
HPI Baja 5SC/5T 2WD Truck Sportsman
HPI Baja 5SC/5T 2WD Truck Expert
HPI Super 5SC 4WD Electric Truck
(Minimum 5 cars per class, classes with less than 5 entries will be combined)
Competition Rules:
1/5th Scale HPI Baja 5b/5SC/5T 2WD vehicles only
Open motor and tire rules
Entry Fee:
$20 per entry.
