BREAKING: Savoya swaps Sweep Racing for JConcepts

Renaud Savoya informed me today via Facebook that he will be running JConcepts tires, starting with this weekend's NeoX race in England. He provided this photo with a set of JConcepts Reflex tires mounted to his HB D815 buggy.

The switch is a result of a few different factors, including his involvement with the online retailer Sweep Shop.

"I race at the highest level and need a bigger racing team," said the three-time European Champion, "Plus, my business partner want to retire from Sweep shop so all got together pretty much at the same time. We are selling the company now."

The move is rather last-minute, which explains the "SR" logo on Savoya's wing wrap - that should disappear for future races.
