At this point it is still unsure as to where the legendary Atsushi Hara will be headed for 2014 in terms of a chassis sponsor, however, he HAS settled on an electronics sponsor. News has been released today from Hobbywing Technology that Hara has in fact signed on board for 2014, and will power all of his electric vehicles using Hobbywing ESC's and motors.
Hobbywing says, "The Year 2014 is considered as the Year of the Horse as per the Chinese Zodiac Calendar, which begins on January 31, 2014. Hobbywing is proud to announce Mr. Atsushi Hara, R/C super star, joining the team on this special day. In Chinese culture, the Horse is a symbol of speed, nobility, class, and perseverance. We wish Hara excellent performance with our V3.1 ESC and V10 motors in the Year of the Horse."
Hara went on to say, "I am very exciting to join Hobbywing team in 2014!!! Very special thanks to Jack, Michael and Salton for the excellent offer. I'm looking forward to the ISTC Worlds coming in this October. We will show huge performance for this event!"
