Balestri crowned IFMAR world champion

Top qualifier Dario Balestri claimed the 21st IFMAR world championship for the 1/8-scale nitro on-road class in Italy this past weekend, following a long climb through the field after a mistake on the start dropped him to last. He crossed the finish line less than five seconds ahead of defending champ Simon Kurzbuch with another two laps back to Shoki Takahata in third.
