Billy Fischer and Taylor James leave Losi for Durango!

LiveRC.com has been informed by Billy Fischer and Taylor James that they have left Team Losi Racing and have signed with the ever-growing Team Durango race team.

The move now makes Team Durango a complete race team in the U.S. nitro scene. Up until now, the German car manufacturer has been on a signing spree, but has only landed one prominent American driver- Ryan Lutz (although Renaud Savoya is currently living in Texas).

We talked with Billy Fischer (Arizona) about the move earlier today, and he had the following to say:

"I would like to thank Team Losi for all of their support over the last 7+ years. I look forward to beginning something new and working with the entire Durango team! 2011 should be a great year!"

Fischer also says he will run the full Team Durango product line up- both nitro and electric.

We also talked with Taylor James (Missouri), who told us following:

"I just want to thank Team Losi Racing for their awesome support all year and I'm really excited to start a new chapter in my racing career with Team Durango. They are very serious about racing and we all look forward to having a very successful 2011."

The two new Durangons (Yes, I just made that up), paired with Lutz, should be able to work their way into A-finals all year long, especially now that they have the pleasure of working together to develop setups.
