Branson and Finley Win Essex Winter Series Round 1

This past weekend saw the return of the prestigious Essex Winter Series, held in Rayleigh, UK. As one of the premier indoor carpet series in Europe, the competition was high like in previous years.

The XRAY team were in attendance and hoping to get the series off to the best possible start.

In the 17.5 Stock TC class, Team XRAY’s Zak Finlay took his X4’24 car to the TQ spot in all four rounds of qualifying. He was followed by Tony Broad, who made it an XRAY 1-2 in qualification.

In the single leg final, Zak Finlay was able to convert the TQ position into a win, whilst Tony Broad was also able to hold onto his 2ndplace position.

In the modified TC class, Kyle Branson was able to take the overall TQ position, with a set of four round wins. Harley Eldridge would line up 4th overall for the final.

In the final, another faultless drive from Kyle saw him take the victory, with Harley remaining in 4th overall.

Round 2 of the series will take place in December and the XRAY team will seek to produce another solid set of results.
