Going into the final round of racing, Jared Tebo needed to finish second or higher to put the pressure on Ryan Maifield. Tebo was in the first heat, and finished third behind Ryan Cavalieri and Carson Wernimont.
Though Ryan Maifield hasn't yet finished his final race, he's guaranteed the title he has so narrowly missed before. As one of the latest drivers that Mike Reedy picked out and groomed as a future international star, the championship is a huge one for Maifield.
