CML Distribution Press Release:

Having dominated the Micro scene ever since their ground breaking GT14B platform broke ranks two years ago, Carisma have not been idle in building on their success. Fresh from winning the 2012/13 UK BRCA Micro Championship with the GT14B, they have announced the latest generation of micro off road racer in the form of the exiting GTB.

The new GTB carries on with the race proven suspension from the GT14B but now features a brand new chassis design to accommodate twin belt drivetrain. With front and rear ball diffs and an adjustable slipper unit the GTB is race ready for todays power systems. Side mounted stick style battery packs are now catered for making the job of sourcing affordable batteries an easier job.

The new chassis features a flex-tech upper deck for controlled flex providing a balance between easy handling, jumping and traction. New low profile block pattern, high traction tyres on racing dish wheels are standard and provide balanced grip on a variety of track surfaces, whether it is asphalt, grass, dirt or wood. Suspension features turnbuckles and new and improved ball cups along with silky smooth oil filled aluminium shock absorbers. Steering is improved over the previous model with new geometry and servo saver unit.

Everything is topped off with a new cab forward race body for more frontal downforce and a new big wingspan rear wing to enable the GTB to fly better over jumps.

At just £99.99 for the rolling chassis, is this the next big thing for cost conscious racers looking for more than a 2wd on road car?

  • Factory Assembled Rolling Chassis - Just add electrics
