XRAY Race Report:
Round 1 of the Northeast Division RC Pro Series was hosted by McCullough's Off-Road outside of Pittsburgh, PA. While entries were lower than expected, XRAY driver CJ Weaver was in attendance ready to race! Weaver TQ'ed all four rounds of pro buggy and three rounds of pro truggy securing the pole position for the finals.
In pro buggy it looked as though Weaver would leave the competition behind, as a shocking mistake would pop a ball end off on lap two. A quick fix had CJ back on the track in no time. He quickly made up the lost time and took over the lead and overall win with his XB9.
In pro truggy XRAY's Eric Shoen looked to be the man to beat. Unfortunate mechanical difficulties would drop him back to 3rd and hand the lead once again to CJ Weaver.
In the end, Weaver brought home the gold in both pro classes for Team XRAY!
