CML Race Report:
Having already tied up the championship after TQing and winning every single one of the first four rounds the pressure was off a little for team Carisma/CML driver Phil Sleigh. So, up stepped team Carisma driver Craig Harris, who was running the new Carisma GTB belt driven car for the first time at a national meeting.
(The track at Swansea.)
After 4 rounds of qualifying, in pole position stood the new GTB of Craig Harris, who converted his pole to a win in the final, closely followed by championship winner Phil Sleigh, with another GTB Carisma.
With the TQ and win it gave Craig 2nd place in the championship and proved the GTB in good stead for the last round due on the 3rd of march at Caldicot.
(Craig and Phil have a giggle off-track but it's all serious on-track.)
Also, team CML/Carisma driver Tony Bishop could tie up third place in the championship if all goes to plan, so good luck Tony, we will keep you all posted on his results!
