Czech Nationals 2020 Round 1 Results

The first round of 1/8th scale Czech Nationals took a place last Saturday at the RC offroad club Kolin track. As always, with a track open on Friday for free practice.

This time we ran 4 qualifying run, in the Nitro class, Martin Bayer took the overall TQ after winning 2 Q runs, I finished 2nd after winning the other two and Jiri Mara took the 3rd place. In Ebuggy class I was able to TQ all 4 qualifiers in front of Ales Bidovsky and Jiri Benes.

The Ebuggy finals went pretty well for me, I was able to secure the overall Win after winning the first two final legs with a huge gap over Ales, who finished overall 2nd and Jiri came in 3rd.

Martin Bayer set the fastest time in the semis, so he started on the pole position in the main final in front of me and Jiri Mara. The top 3 had a little mix in the first lap after we all made a little mistake, but later Martin was able to pull away and take the lead. He crossed the finish line on the first place, I finished 2nd overall and Jiri came in 3rd.

Both my XRAY buggies XB8 and XB8E’20 worked flawlessly the whole race, managing the changes of surfaces from wet to dusty and bumpy. Big thanks to all my sponsors for the awsome package I have. Looking forward for more races with nice weather to come!
