This past weekend was round 3 of the Southern Summer Payout Series which took place at 405 Raceway and was one of the track's last events before having to move to a new facility. With over 60 entries and over $500 given out in cash the event was a large success.

In 2wd modified buggy Charles day would take the TQ and win after finishing 2nd in A1 and winning A2. Kyle Skidmore would finish 2nd with Trevor Nault taking 3rd. 4wd Modified buggy would see Tyler Hooks take the win in both mains with Charles Day finishing 2nd and Trevor Nault 3rd. Mod Stadium Truck would see Charles take his second TQ and win with Gabriel Montiel taking 2nd. Stock buggy would have Austin Jeffries take the TQ and win, 13.5 4wd saw Jason Mackey take the TQ and win, 4WD SC was won by Jevin Easter who also took TQ, and finally novice TQ and winner was Bobby Bozarth.

Round 4 is at T&T Raceway in Shreveport, Louisiana on August 10th and 11th.

4wd Modified Buggy: TQ and 1st Tyler Hooks, 2nd Charles Day, 3rd Trevor Nault

17.5 Buggy: TQ and 1st Austin Jeffries, 2nd Alex Gwin, 3rd Todd Sieler

13.5 4wd Buggy: TQ and 1st Jason Mackey, 2nd Nick Fairless, 3rd Cesar Hernandez

Modified Truck: TQ and 1st Charles Day, 2nd Gabriel Montiel, 3rd Ross Gonzales

4WDSC: TQ and 1st Jevin Easter, 2nd Cory Campbell, 3rd Dylan White

Novice: TQ and 1st Bobby Bozarth, 2nd Bryan Tilson, 3rd Jace Peterson
