Dayap and Manalvo are the OCR Raceway "Master's of 2012"

  

 

Karlo Dayap - Short Course Truck and Sergio Manalvo - Pro Buggy take the honours of OCR Master's of 2012, both drivers putting on a commanding display of driving, both pushing the limits all the way to the end setting new lap records in the closing stages, whilst not getting it all their own way, the pair were almost untouchable throughout.

On to the Action!

Round 6 - Pro Buggy - Manalvo off pole position, getting a clean run through turn one, with Nicol and Dolkefflee in tow. The trio running in that order for most of the race, Knauth coming through the pack after getting caught up early to move into third place in the closing stages, Manalvo taking the win in the end over Nicol and Knauth.

Short Course Truck - Dayap out early with Miller close behind, Miller coming to grief on lap 11, Ussher and Harris taking full advantage of his demise, Dayap untouchable in this one putting a lap on the field, Ussher holding out Harris for second, Will Brown and White battling hard for fourth and fifth.

Round 7 - Pro Buggy - A fantastic race between the Top 4 points leaders, Manalvo, Knauth, Nicol and Tampe, with lead changes throughout the race. On the line though Manalvo got the better of them taking a 2.78 sec win over Nicol, Knauth holding out Tampe for third.

Short Course Truck - An awesome race to watch with a great battle at the front between four drivers, Dayap, Miller Harris and Ussher. Dayap takinga 10.15 sec win over Miller in the end, Harris holding onto third in front of Ussher, Ciccone rounding out the Top 5.

Round 8 - Pro Buggy - Finally someone puts a stop to Manalvo's winning ways! A new lap record from Manalvo was not enough with Tampe getting past in the final laps to take the win, Manalvo second Christianson finding pace to take third ahead of Dolkefflee and Knauth.

Short Course Truck - Another fantastic race from the Trucks Top 5 drivers, Dayap pushing the limits to stay in front breaking the long standing lap record in the process. On the finish line it was Dayap, 9.11 secs back Ussher, Harris holding out Ciccone for third.

Round 9 - Pro Buggy - Manalvo setting a new Holeshot with a blistering 44.98 seconds, Tampe and Knauth after him, the pair chasing down the leader to make a race of it to the line, Manalvo taking the win by 9.42 seconds over Knauth, Tampe just behind in third, Nicol holding out Jones for fourth.

Short Course Truck - Polesitter Dayap making a break for it with Miller in tow, Ussher and Ciccone close behind, Miller breaking through in the closing stages to take a 14.09 sec win over Dayap, Ussher working hard to keep Ciccone at bay for third.

Round 10 - Pro Buggy - The Final Pro Buggy race of the Masters and of the 2012 season saw probably the best wheel to wheel action of the year, with the Top 5 drivers going at it from start to finish, althought it was Tampe that came out on top by 4.22 secs over Knauth, Dolkefflee holding out Christianson for third, Manalvo relegated to fifth even after pulling a number of fastest laps in the race.

Short Course Truck - Miller taking it to them all in the final round putting a lap on Dayap in the end Ussher just behind, ahead of Harris and Ciccone.

Well what a fantastic event, lots of Hard and Fast race action between the Top drivers in the NT, Great friendly atmosphere mixed in with the some of the best competiton we have seen made for the best way to see out an awesome 2012 Race Season!
