With Maifield securing TQ position in all the Pro classes, the rest of the field was scrambling for the remaining spots. The final pro buggy qualifier was run under lights and with much cooler track temperatures that kept all drivers on their toes. The final round was very intense as it was the last chance for drivers to make the 45-minute A-Final that will run Sunday night.
And for drivers like Ryan Cavalieri, Jared Tebo, Cole Ogden and Tanner Denney, that's exactly what they did.

Cementing his authority in the final round of qualifying with his third-straight TQ run, TLR's Ryan Maifield was absolutely on fire. Even with a mistake on the first lap, Ryan was able to put in hot lap after hot lap and within 4 laps he moved back to the front. Once in the lead, the fast and furious Maifield paced himself ahead of his former teammate, Team Associated's Ryan Cavalieri, to take yet another TQ in round three and complete a perfect sweep of Pro Buggy qualifying.
With his back against the wall because of a DNF in round two, Cavalieri desperately needed a solid run in round three to even make the A-main. The five-time former DNC champ delivered with the secnd fastest time in round three, finishing only four-tenths of a second behind Maifield. By earning a secnd for the round, Cavalieri will start third on the grid in Sunday's A-main event.
A rough performance in Wednesday's seeding practice left Cole Ogden in the 'D' heat, but the Georgia native set a blistering pace in round three to set a time only eclipsed by Ryan and Ryan. Last year's double-finalist at the ROAR Nationals was super excited as his solid run earned him eighth overall - good enough to make the show on Sunday night.
Round three results:
