After finishing second in last year’s IFMAR Electric Off-Road Worlds, Jared Tebo will be one of the hottest drivers to watch during this year’s nitro racing season. Not only does Kyosho have a new 1/8-scale buggy on the way (which, as we understand, is not being used this week), but Tebo will take another shot at winning the IFMAR 1/8-Scale Off-Road World Championship that has alluded him for over a decade when the race hits RC Tracks of Las Vegas later this fall.
First up, however, is the Dirt Nitro Challenge - a race that Tebo last won in 2011. After a third place finish in 2015 behind the incredible Ryan vs. Ryan battle for the win, Tebo seemed fired up in the first round of practice to improve two podium steps.
